Haley Will Not Rule Out Serving As Trump's VP

 January 5, 2024

GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley has again indicated that she would perhaps be open to serving as former President Donald Trump’s vice-presidential pick if he secures the 2024 Republican nomination.

Haley has been asked multiple times if she would accept such an offer from Trump.

Every time, Haley has beaten around the bush instead of providing a simple yes or no answer, suggesting to many that she would entertain the notion of running alongside Trump.

Her recent statement in an interview with Fox News Digital was no different than her prior ones on the topic.

"I have said from the very beginning I don’t play for second. It’s offensive for anybody to think that I would do all of this to play for second. And so, I have said that. I will continue to say that. If people aren’t satisfied with that, I don’t know what else to say," Haley said.

Meanwhile, Haley's other main competitor, GOP candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has provided a clear answer to the same question.

He will not accept offer to serve as Trump's running mate.

"I can tell you under any circumstance, I will not accept that because that’s not why I’m running," DeSantis said at a recent town hall.

Do you think Nikki Haley avoiding a yes or no response is an indication she would accept a VP offer from Trump?
