Former Russian beauty queen Ekaterina Novoselova was one of the victims of the Moscow attack at Crocus City Hall, where multiple gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons, killing more than 140 people.

The concert hall was also set on fire, and the roof partially collapsed.

Novoselova, 42, won the awards in 2001.

Among the other victims was a photographer and her husband, an economist, and an eight-year-old boy. The boy is still in critical condition.

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, and video footage of the carnage appears to back up those claims.

Putin has vowed revenge against the terror group.
