Democrats Don't Think Biden Should Run Again

 December 1, 2023

The Democratic Party is starting to sweat.

As time grows short to boost the approval ratings of our flop of a president, Joe Biden, his campaign is faced with a hard truth.

If the election was next week, Biden would almost be guaranteed to lose to former President Donald Trump.

Bill Ackman, a billionaire investor, thinks that Biden should say he's not going to run.

“I think Biden’s done a lot of good things. But I think his legacy will not be a good one if he is the nominee,” Ackman said. “I do think the right thing for Biden to do is to step aside and to say he’s not going to run and create the opportunity for some competition.”

GOP presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has had similar thoughts, telling America during the last GOP debate that everyone knows Biden isn't healthy enough to run again.

Now, while the Democrats do have a year to get it together, a year goes fast and there is a lot of ground to cover.

The Democratic Party sure has a lot of weak arguments on deck for why the election will work out in its favor. However, not one of those arguments has really left anyone feeling reassured of Biden’s chances in 2024.

“In 2020, Trump never led Biden in the national [RealClearPolitics] Average. He briefly closed to within four points in early January of 2020, but that is it. He led in five polls all cycle,” Sean Trende, an election analyst, recently said. “He’s led in more polls in the past three weeks than he did against Biden in all of 2019-2020.”

Trump is gaining momentum and Biden’s window to turn things around is closing fast.

The former president is simply in a far better position than ever to take down Biden and the Democratic Party knows it.
