Dean Cain explains why he fled California for Nevada
California used to be the epitome of the American Dream. It was not only a dream destination for permanent residence but also at the top of most people's vacation destination lists.
However, the state has taken a drastic and unfortunate turn and now leads the pack in states losing residents given the crippling, ultra-liberal policies that have all but ruined the entire state, with few exceptions.
The fleeing residents also include high-profile celebrities, such as Superman actor Dean Cain, who recently explained why he decided to leave his California life behind for good, Breitbart reported.
The actor said that "California has gone crazy in a sense."
"I had to leave California. California has gone crazy in a sense. There’s been so much. Look at the taxation. Look at the regulations. Look at the silly laws that have been passed. There were things that I didn’t agree with, and I’ve been voting here and living here and working here my entire life. I finally got to a place where I was like, I don’t agree with this," Cain told The Messenger.

Cain left California for nearby Nevada, and explained why he chose the Silver State over other options.
"It’s a big savings," Cain said, adding, "It’s so much easier to travel places from Las Vegas than from LAX. It’s incredible. It’s the quietest place I’ve ever slept in my life. When I got here and saw traffic, I was like, ‘What is this foreign substance? I don’t like it anymore.’ I don’t deal with that at all. It’s great."
He also noted that his parents have lived there for several years and enjoy it, and he explained that the state doesn't have personal income tax requirements.
As far as work is concerned, Cain said he has seen no interruptions in his career after leaving California. He noted that it's so much better shooting outside of Los Angeles.
"People don’t want to [shoot in L.A.]," Cain said. "It costs too much, there’s too many restrictions."

Cain also explained that the homelessness and drug problems plaguing many parts of the state factored into his decision.
Only time will tell how many more California residents, including celebrities, finally escape.
