Bob Menendez Co-Defendant Pleads Guilty To 7 Counts

 March 2, 2024

Things are not looking good for Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ).

His co-defendant, Jose Uribe, just took a plea deal on SEVEN criminal counts.

That plea deal, of course, comes with some substantial terms and conditions.

Uribe must “truthfully and completely disclose all information with respect to the activities of himself and others concerning all matters about which this Office inquires of him, which information can be used for any purpose.”

There’s a high probability that any testimony from Uribe could take down Menendez.

Because Menendez said he was not guilty in 2023, he is likely sweating over Uribe’s plea deal.

“Those who believe in justice believe in innocence until proven guilty. I intend to continue to fight for the people of New Jersey with the same success I’ve had for the past five decades. This is the same record of success these very same leaders have lauded all along,” Menendez said last fall.

If Menendez’s co-defendant’s BEST course of action was to come clean and plead guilty -- what does that mean for the senator?
