Biden seen sporting new 'maximum stability' shoes while stepping off of Marine One

President Joe Biden, 81, is no stranger to taking his fair share of falls.

Throughout his presidency, Biden has fallen numerous times -- and that's just what the cameras catch. One of his most iconic and frightening falls was when he fell "up" the stairs of Air Force One.

His age and physical and cognitive health have become a sharpening thorn in his political side as he desperately attempts to bring his poll numbers up for the 2024 election.

Unfortunately for the elderly president, social media users quickly reacted when they spotted pictures of Biden sporting "maximum stability" shoes as he was seen stepping off of Marine One recently.

The shoes are reportedly designed to prevent the wearer from falling. They're made by popular shoemaker Hoka. Biden's pair drew plenty of comments.

The Independent noted:

The “Hoka Transport” shoe has a “wide sole” that is “no doubt great for stability”, the report said, adding that they are “designed for maximum comfort and support while walking or hiking”.

While it's obviously the right shoe for Biden to wear in his current condition, politically speaking, it's not doing him any favors. Multiple polls, including a recent ABC News poll, revealed that a vast majority of Americans believe Biden is simply too old to run for another term in the White House.

Social media users torched the elderly president after footage of the shoes went viral.

"Three years later, Crooked Joe Biden's handlers won't let him use the big stairs anymore and have forced him into special shoes. He's WEAK!" RNC Research wrote on X.

Another social media user commented, "I started wearing Hoka due to an injury that screwed up my legs. They are actually very good shoes. I don’t necessarily want to see the president wearing them though."

The safety shoes are the latest in the apparent efforts of his handlers to keep him from falling too much. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the U.S. Secret Service now positions an agent at the bottom of the stairs to the aircraft just in case he takes another tumble.

Shorter stairs have also been installed on the aircraft to help prevent falls, adding more embarrassment to the situation for Biden.

Unfortunately, it's probably only a matter of time before he falls again. It's difficult to imagine his family is ok with watching him take so many beatings.
