Airplane crash in Ohio leaves 3 dead

 February 26, 2024

In the past year, the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been struggling to deal with growing instances of aviation accidents and crashes.

The latest incident occurred near Jackson, Ohio, on Saturday when a Piper PA-32 airplane went down in a field killing all three occupants.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that the three victims were Daniel Baker, 44, Zebulon Logan, 45, and Dan Baker, 75.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are already busy investigating this crash, but this is just one of seemingly dozens of fatal accidents.

Many are blaming the pandemic and its impact on the aviation industry as an explanation for the crashes and accidents that have been happening. Layoffs and general industry disruption have led to safety issues ranging from big airlines to amateur fliers.

So far, the Biden administration hasn't been helpful as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has downright refused to make needed reforms and until those happen, things will only get worse.
