Author says Meghan Markle told King Charles two royals discussed son Archie's skin color

Royal expert Omid Scobie said in a new book that Meghan Markle told King Charles that not one, but two royal family members commented on and discussed the skin color of her son Archie.

Markle told Oprah in 2021 that "a" royal had asked about her son's skin color, but Scobie now says it was two.

Scobie said he knows who the two royals are but that U.K. laws prevent him from saying.

He claims that he isn't writing as a friend to Markle, though he is her ally, but is trying to show the serious problems he says plague the current royal family.

Scobie's book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival said that Markle named the two royals in private letters to King Charles.

Markle is half Black -- although her skin tone is light -- and she is the first person of color to marry into the British royal family.
