New Argentinian President Vows 'End Of Argentina's Decline'

 November 21, 2023

In Argentina, they don't say "make America great again," that wouldn't make sense.

Instead, they're calling it the current state of affairs the "end of Argentina's decline."

That's the type of energy and gusto that new Argentinian president Javier Milei is bringing after winning the country's presidential election on Nov. 19.

The libertarian who describes himself as an "anarcho-capitalist" pulled off a massive upset with 55.7% percent of the vote.

His opponent, Economy Minister Sergio Massa, won only 44% of the vote and conceded pretty quickly.

"Today begins the reconstruction of Argentina. Today begins the end of Argentina's decline," Milei said in his first address after winning. "The model of decadence has come to an end. There is no way back."

"There is no room for gradualism or half-measures," said Milei.

What do you think about Milei's victory? Do you think that this could be a signal that the world is turning away from far-left policies and trying to pursue common sense?
