Mike Pence drops out of 2024 presidential race

 October 29, 2023

Former Vice President Mike Pence announced that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race during remarks in front of the Republican Jewish Coalition summit.

Pence spent much of his speech calling for the Biden administration to stand behind Israel as one of America's strongest allies, especially in the Middle East.

Pence stated, "We stand with Israel for the same reason the American people have always stood with Israel. We stand with Israel because her cause is our cause. Her values are our values. Her fight is our fight. We stand with Israel because we believe in right over wrong, in good over evil. And as believing Americans have for generations, we stand with Israel because Israel’s very existence is proof that God’s promises are true."

However, after making his stance on Israel clear, Pence went on to confirm that he was indeed finished with the 2024 race.

Pence announced, "To the American people, I say: This is not my time, but it is still your time." However, he warned against "the siren song of populism unmoored to conservative principles," in what could be easily interpreted as an attack on former President Donald Trump.

The truth is Pence never had a chance, and his campaign was arguably a massive waste of time. Now all eyes will be on the former VP to see whom among the remaining candidates he chooses to endorse.
