Marlow: Burisma just the tip of the iceberg in Biden family corruption

 October 8, 2023

Though much of the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's questionable foreign business dealings has centered around his seat on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow contends that his entanglement with that enterprise was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the family's corruption.

Marlow went into further detail on the subject during a recent appearance on Fox Business Network program Kudlow, outlining some of his findings to host Larry Kudlow.

Asking about research undertaken as part of his book, Breaking Biden: Exposing the Hidden Forces and Secret Money Machine Behind Joe Biden, His Family, and His Administration, Kudlow asked Marlow, “How about in terms of flying around and all the influence peddling, were you able to uncover any additional stuff on the Burisma issue and the bribery issue, you know, and maybe beyond what these IRS agents are saying?”

Emphasizing the importance of Hunter Biden's involvement in Ukraine, Marlow replied, “I think the Burisma one is always important to come back to because this is the clearest example, easy to document of clear bribery where you've got a government policy that was altered, specifically in order to pay the Biden family some money.”

Describing the contours of what occurred, Marlow added, “Hunter gets a million a year deal and Burisma has one request, Larry, one request, fire the prosecutor. They asked multiple times.”

“Joe [Biden] does it and brags about it. Now we know thanks to some FOIAs that the State Department actually thought the prosecutor was doing a good job. Soe we materially changed our government policy in order for the Bidens to make money. Clear as day, get the handcuffs out right now,” Marlow continued.

Pointing to a potentially much broader scheme on the part of the Bidens, Marlow said, “We know they're capable of that and we know they're doing deals in at least half a dozen countries that I document in the book.”

Marlow then suggested that there is sufficient knowledge in place already to justify subpoenas for the purpose of asking Hunter Biden what services he provided in exchange for the money he clearly received.

“He's never given that answer. I want to know the answer, what Hunter did for the companies that were paying him,” Marlow went on.

While Hunter's dealings in Ukraine may be the easiest to document, as Fox News reported earlier this year, his endeavors in at least three other foreign countries have also raised eyebrows and could also yield damning revelations once fully probed.

For instance, Hunter Biden's ties to Chinese energy firm CEFC China Energy reportedly netted entities he and his uncle controlled multiple millions of dollars.

Given that CEFC executives are reported to have “extensive” ties to the Chinese Communist Party, the transfer of funds in exchange for heretofore unexplained and undefined services, there remain a host of questions that need answers.

Senate Republicans have also unearthed ties between Hunter Biden and Elena Baturina, a Russian billionaire who transferred large sums to a Biden-controlled entity in 2014 and additional funds again in 2015.

Potentially questionable links between Hunter Biden and politically-connected individuals from Kazakhstan stem from funds that were transferred to Rosemont Seneca Bohai – Biden-controlled entity – used for the purchase of a Fisker sports car at a time when then-Vice President Joe Biden was in Kyiv to discuss regional geopolitical issues and sanctions against Russia, and, if Marlow is correct, it appears that the depths of the corruption in which the family was involved have yet to be fully plumbed.
