Jake Hall, former 'Only Way Is Essex' star, dead at 35 after accident in Spain

Jake Hall, the British model and reality television personality who appeared on ITV's The Only Way Is Essex, has died in Spain at age 35. The Spanish Civil Guard told BBC News it was investigating the incident and said it "appears to be an accidental death."

Hall is the second cast member from the long-running ITV series to die this year, following the death of Jordan Wright in Thailand in March.

A spokesperson for the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office confirmed the death to BBC News, as Deadline reported:

"We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."

The Sun reported that Hall sustained head injuries and died after an accident at a villa in Majorca. No further details about the circumstances of the accident have been made public.

A career built on reality television and fashion

Hall landed a role on The Only Way Is Essex, known widely as TOWIE, in 2015. The ITV show had already become a fixture of British reality programming, and Hall carved out a recognizable presence during his time on the series. He also worked as a model and fashion designer.

During his run on the show, Hall dated co-star Chloe Lewis. He later had a daughter with Missé Beqiri, who appeared on Ladies of London and the Real Housewives of Cheshire.
