Donald Trump says Kamala Harris would be a better president than Joe Biden

Former President Donald Trump shocked Americans by claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris is more suitable to lead the nation than President Joe Biden.

Trump echoed a popular idea that Americans who vote for Biden in 2024 are really voting for Harris, as Biden is not physically fit to be president and wouldn't make it through another four years.

During an interview with Hugh Hewitt on Friday, Trump stated, "It seems like he’s locked into her for a lot of reasons. He has to choose her. I understand. It would seem like the Democrats, if he doesn’t run, have to run her. That’s what all of the professionals like you are saying. I’m not sure that that’s correct, but that’s what they’re saying. Yeah, you’re locked into her. And she might be, I can’t say worse. I think she’d be better than him, actually. I actually think that. I don’t think you can have worse than him."

Biden is effectively a retiree, and the White House has been forced to hide him away from the public for most of his time in office.

The few times when Biden has been allowed to go off script have betrayed just how unfit for office he is. However, it seems Biden is locked in, and it is likely that Democrats hope to win in 2024 and have Biden retire thereafter and hand off to Harris.

Of course, that isn't good news for Democrats either, as Harris is hardly more popular than Biden. No Democrat wants to try and persuade voters with the reward of President Harris going against Trump.
