DeSantis Lays Off Dozens Of Campaign Staff

Ron DeSantis is continuing to lose ground to Donald Trump.

It might not even be Florida Ron's fault. The momentum that Trump is gaining because of the liberal witch hunts against him might mean that there's simply nothing else another Republican could do to take the former president down.

DeSantis is surely going to try, though.

With his campaign backsliding, DeSantis had two options:

1) Bring in a new staff to turn the ship around, but risk looking indecisive or unsure of his picks in the process.

2) Do nothing, and probably continue to fall further and further behind Trump.

To DeSantis' credit, he decided that if he's going down, he's going down swinging.

He's going for the reset.

The campaign has already laid off 38 staffers, a drastic move that shows that DeSantis is not afraid to take extreme measures.
