Biden brutally mocked over bizarre birthday cake photo

President Joe Biden turned 81 last week, and a bizarre picture posted on social media that shows the elderly president sitting next to a flaming cake with 81 candles burning drew immediate mockery.

According to Fox News, a photo of the president and his cake was posted to his X account, and the results -- at least for the president and the White House -- were not good.

In the photo, Biden also promoted his new social media account on the failing new platform called Threads.

The responses to the photo were golden, with many suggesting that the intensely flaming cake was a metaphor for America burning down on Biden's watch due to his failed policies.

Fox News noted:

A photo was posted on the president's X account featuring his flaming treat that was immediately burned by social media users for its "carbon emissions" and being a "fire hazard" given the amount of candles.

"As Biden celebrates his birthday —America represents the cake. Regardless of whether you are Republican, Democrat or Independent we are all feeling the heat from Biden’s failed policies," Mehek Cooke wrote on X.

Many social media users also noted how the picture might not have been the best choice for the White House to post, given that it was easy pickings for Biden's critics.

"The candles on President Biden's birthday cake seemed to cast more light than his policies and leadership have over the past 3 years. America is in desperate need of clear, strong leadership, not the diminishing approach we've been witnessing," another X user wrote.

Another person wrote, "Using only a photo of Joe Biden clinging to a table in the White House where America is represented metaphorically as a cake, describe the Biden presidency."

The intense mockery isn't exactly great timing for the often-confused president as his polling numbers remain in the gutter.

Even some Democrats have strongly signaled that it's probably in Biden's best interest not to run in 2024, given new polling that shows former President Donald Trump beating him.

Only time will tell, but it's clear that Biden can't afford any additional PR nightmares like this one.
