Aubrey Hepburn Considered Herself More A 'Farmer' Than A Movie Star

Today, fans are taking a look back at the beautiful life of actress Audrey Hepburn.

While Hepburn shot to fame for her iconic roles in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and My Fair Lady, she never saw herself as a star.

Instead, Hepburn thought of herself as a farmer.

In fact, something about Hepburn many do not know is the fact that she gave up acting to tend to the farmhouse in which she lived!

Dotti Friedlander, the daughter of Hepburn and one of the writers of Audrey Hepburn in Paris said, “Some people never think of her as half British and Dutch because they connected her to the places that she acted in.”

But, in reality, I want people to think about Audrey as a happy farmer," Friedlander said.

There are not many who would give up their fame to stay at home to raise their children and take up a life of farming, but that’s just what Audrey Hepburn did.

She was truly a class act.
