In a tragic, dark, and sickening act, an active member of the Air Force set himself on fire outside of the Israeli embassy, pledging his allegiance to Palestine.

Prior to the horrific act, he also posted a video on social media confirming his plans.

“I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest, but compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers is not extreme at all,” the Air Force member said in the video.

While on fire, he continued to yell “Free Palestine.”

“The individual involved in yesterday’s incident succumbed to his injuries and passed away last night. We will provide additional details 24 hours after next of kin notifications are complete,” said Stefanek.
