White House confirms Joe Biden will be running again in 2024

 February 14, 2023

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed Sunday that President Joe Biden is running for a second term in 2024.

Jean-Pierre sat down for an interview with Jonathan Capehart on MSNBC’s The Sunday Show where he asked whether President Biden would indeed run again at the age of 82.

Jean-Pierre responded by saying, "What I can say is repeat what the president has said many times is that he intends to run. And I leave it there."

Capehart also asked Jean-Pierre about a variety of topics ranging from alleged UFOs to the classified documents found at the home of former Vice President Mike Pence.

While most of what Jean-Pierre said was carefully guarded, her statement on Biden running in 2024 leaves no doubt that the president has no intention of retiring despite his advanced age.

That is terrible news for many Democrats who want to see the re[sident step down in favor of someone with less baggage and fewer liabilities. President Biden's age is not an asset to Democrats and will be a significant obstacle in his quest to maintain control of the White House.
