White House claims there are no visitor logs for Biden's Wilmington home

The White House and Secret Service claimed Monday that no visitors' logs exist for President Joe Biden's Wilmington, Delaware home to show who might have visited there during the time when classified documents were stored there.

The statements were made after House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) requested the logs as part of an investigation into the mishandling of the documents.

“Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log,” Comer wrote to the White House. “It is troubling that classified documents have been improperly stored at the home of President Biden for at least six years, raising questions about who may have reviewed or had access to classified information.”

The documents that have been turned over to the archives include about 25 that were classified, including some that were top secret.

Congress would like to know who might have had access to the documents by being at Biden's home or his office at the Penn Biden Center.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said on Sunday that the agency only screens visitors. “We don’t independently maintain our own visitor logs because it’s a private residence,” he said.
