Whistleblower accuses FBI of putting spies into Trump's 2016 campaign
Donald Trump has been saying that there's been a witch hunt out to get him for almost a decade now.
Many Americans didn't believe him until they saw the baseless felony charges being levied against the former president, trying to prevent him from winning another term in the White House.
Trump was right, though; this witch hunt against him started farther back than many Americans realized.
Now, a bombshell report detailing whistleblower claims is suggesting that it may have begun even before Trump ever became president.
According to a recent report, "The whistleblower disclosure said two female FBI undercover agents infiltrated Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign at high levels and were directed to act as 'honeypots' while traveling with Mr. Trump and his campaign staff on the trail."
The Washington Times said that "the off-the-books investigation did not appear to target a specific crime but was more of what agents would describe as a fishing expedition to find something incriminating about Mr. Trump."
Looks like Trump was telling the truth all along.
