In remarks to Iowa voters, former President Donald Trump asked "Where's Hunter?" while commenting about Hunter Biden's defiance of a subpoena to testify behind closed doors in front of the House Oversight Committee.

Trump said, “Did you see Hunter today? He went to the wrong place. He went to the Senate instead of the House. Everyone’s saying, ‘Where’s Hunter?’”

On the same day that the president's son defied the subpoena and said he would only testify publicly, the House voted to formally authorize an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Trump also told voters that his significant polling lead should not make them complacent about voting for him when the time comes.

“We’re way, way, way up, but you have to do me a favor: Just go out and vote,” he said at a rally in Coralville, Iowa. “We have to put big numbers, really big numbers. Sometimes, you know, you’re leading by so much. They say, ‘Oh, I think, let’s sit home and watch a movie.' You know, 'We’ll watch the results afterwards.' We don’t want to do that. You gotta get out and vote.”

Trump is nearly 30 points ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, his closest challenger for the GOP nomination in Iowa.
