Washington Judge Orders Trump Remain On State Ballot

 January 19, 2024

Former President Donald Trump just received a huge victory.

Thanks to Superior Court Judge Mary Sue Wilson, Trump will remain on ballots in Washington state.

The actions of Secretary of State Steve Hobbs were addressed in Wilson’s ruling.

In the ruling, Wilson said that the “court determines that the secretary of state acted consistent with his duties.”

“An order directing the secretary of state to take different action, an order from this court, is simply not supported by the statutes and not supported by the affidavit of the electors,” Wilson continued.

Trump just keeps winning.

Recently, the Supreme Court also handed Trump another victory in Maine, delaying Secretary of State Shenna Bellows’ decision to remove him from ballots.

Now, Bellows’ hands are tied until the Supreme Court can come to a decision to keep or overturn the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling to remove Trump from their ballots.

The Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether the Colorado ballot decision was constitutional on Feb. 8
