Voters want both Joe Biden and Donald Trump gone in 2024

 April 24, 2023

A new poll from NBC found that voters seem to be souring on the prospects of both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump running for President in 2024.

The poll found that 70% of respondents believe President Biden should step aside and not seek another term in 2024. The likely reason is that he is already the oldest president in American history.

Trump isn't much younger, and as a result, 60% of respondents stated that Trump should also step aside and not seek a second term.

Biden is expected to formally launch his campaign for reelection this week, and should he win a second term, he will be 82 years old at its start and 86 when that term ends.

Trump is 76 years old and would be 78 years old if he won a second term, which would end when he was 82 years old. Both candidates are well past retirement age, and that is a major concern for many Americans.

Joe Biden is the de facto candidate for the Democrat Party unless its voters rise up and demand he steps down. As for Trump, he will have to compete in a growing field for the nomination for a chance to return to the White House.
