US airlines ask Biden not to approve additional US-China flights

 April 13, 2024

Large U.S. airlines and some of their unions are pleading with the Biden administration to stop approving anymore flights between America and China because of what they say are "anti-competitive" policies that China imposes on carriers.

It wouldn't be the first time in recent history that China's government was trying to take advantage of the American people.

If you've been paying attention to the news over the last few years, you'd know that TikTok is also a huge problem in America in 2024.

TikTok is owned by ByteDance, a company that is controlled by the communist government of China.

To make matters worse, ByteDance has already mishandled the data of multiple American users, according to their own admission.

Now, it looks as if the Chinese government is trying to play dirty with our air travel industry as well.

"These actions demonstrated the clear need for the U.S. government to establish a policy that protects U.S. aviation workers, industry and air travelers," the airlines and unions said in a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
