Trump's closing debate remarks trouncing Harris' statement in numbers of online views
It's been about a week since the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
While Trump didn't initially seem to have gained a ton of momentum as a result of his debate performance, it would appear as though he's been picking up a little steam in the days that followed.
Harris was definitely seen as the early winner, with a YouGov poll shortly after the debate showing that 54% of people believed that she had prevailed in the debate, compared to just 31% of people who said the same about Trump.
Still, that didn't stop Trump from claiming that he was the winner:
"...Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats' Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate," Trump wrote on social media.
Maybe instead of discussing overall viewer impressions, the poll Trump was talking about is simply the total TikTok view numbers of their closing statements:
The media is attempting to manufacture an image for Kamala Harris as some popular woman who has taken the country by storm.
In reality, outside of DC newsrooms no one really cares. https://t.co/O9nXmAJk47
