Trump Verdict In NY Civil Fraud Case Expected In Early 2024

 December 15, 2023

Former President Donald Trump just hit a huge milestone in his recent civil business fraud court case.

Testimony is officially over.

What’s next?

As of the time of writing, a verdict is now likely only one month away.

On Jan. 11, 2024, court will resume to hear the closing arguments.

After that, we will know the outcome.

Trump’s fate will be in the hands of Judge Arthur Engoron, who says he hopes to provide the verdict by the end of January.

There is no jury in this trial, as Attorney General Letitia James invoked a state law that does not allow a jury to be involved in matters of this nature.

It would appear that James seems to already believe Judge Engoron will rule against Trump on a host of claims. In a statement, James said “While the judge already ruled in our favor and found that Donald Trump engaged in years of significant fraud and unjustly enriched himself and his family, this trial revealed the full extent of that fraud -- and the defendants' inability to disprove it.”

If we were James, we wouldn’t be so sure.

Trump has proven time and time again he is not going down without a fight, and this trial is no different.
