Trump tweets about election hearings charged as 'in furtherance' of conspiracy

It's apparently a crime now to tweet about election fraud, according to Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis.

Some of the charges against former President Donald Trump relate to 12 tweets that Willis says "further" the conspiracy of trying to overturn the 2020 election, and a grand jury agreed that a case on such a theory should proceed.

One tweet telling people to watch state hearings about election fraud allegations resulted in a charge for Trump, which is completely ridiculous.

Doesn't anyone remember the stink Al Gore raised in Florida back in 2000 when he narrowly lost the election there?

Election officials were recounting ballots there for weeks after Gore launched even more strident objections than Trump ever did, but he was never charged with any crimes.

Democrats have short memories to support charging Trump in this way after what their candidate did just 20 years earlier. Republicans, however, are never going to forget what partisan leftists tried to do to Trump.
