Trump trying out new nicknames for DeSantis, including PG-13 'Tiny D'

Former President Donald Trump just can't stop giving his political opponents mean nicknames, and number one on his list right now is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

Trump is reportedly spending a lot of time workshopping new nicknames for DeSantis, and has come up with “Ron DisHonest,” “Ron DeEstablishment,” and “Tiny D.”

DeSantis has so far shrugged off criticism and other Trump nicknames like "DeSanctimonious," so Trump seems to be wasting his time.

There's a pretty decent split in the GOP between those who really, really want Trump as the nominee and those who want to move on to another candidate.

The issue may end up coming down to how many candidates run, because about half want Trump and the other half seems split between a few candidates, even though DeSantis is first among them.

It's still early, and DeSantis could get a sizeable bump when he announces his candidacy officially, which is expected to be in May or June.
