Trump town hall crushes ratings of GOP debate on CNN

Former President Donald Trump's Town Hall event on Fox News crushed his distant competitors' debate ratings on CNN Wednesday night.

The Trump town hall had 4.4 million viewers, while the CNN debate between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley only had 2.6 million viewers.

The town hall ratings were 64% higher than the debate, which makes sense because Trump has an easy 30-point lead on both of them (they are close to tied). Maybe closer to 50% in some polls.

Plus, DeSantis and Haley are just saying the same old Republican things for the most part. Nobody is all that interested in that, even if they support those Republican things.

Trump, on the other hand- - you never really know what he's going to say. On Wednesday night, he said he knows who his vice president is going to be, but he isn't telling yet.

The final nail in CNN's coffin is that Fox News almost always has higher ratings than it does, so this really shouldn't be that surprising.
