Trump Tells Carlson All Four Indictments Are 'Bullshit'

 August 25, 2023

Former President Donald Trump wasn't at the Republican primary debate that took place on Aug. 23.

That doesn't mean that he wasted his Wednesday night, though.

In fact, Trump was VERY busy on debate night, which was less than 24 hours before he was scheduled to turn himself in in Georgia.

The interview that he allowed Tucker Carlson to conduct understandably went viral on social media, meaning that many people got to see some vintage Trump action even though he wasn't squaring off against the other candidates.

Carlson wanted to know Trump's thoughts on his indictments and why his poll numbers continue to climb every time there is a new one. "So, if the protest didn’t work, you got elected anyway, impeachment didn’t work twice, obviously. Indictment is not working. Your poll numbers go up," Carlson said. "When they raided Mar-a-Lago in August of last year, your numbers went up. They can indict you 20 times and it’s not going to — you’re not going to lose the Republican primary because of that."

Trump had a pretty straightforward answer for why the indictments are actually helping him, and I think that he might be right:

They are all nonsense, bullshit. It’s all bullshit.

There you have it. What did you expect?
