Axios Speculates on Trump Short List For VP

 January 20, 2024

Axios has published its list of potential partners for Donald Trump's 2024 ticket.

Trump has not yet made an official announcement about who his VP is going to be but has indicated that he's already made the decision in his mind.

Since the former president hasn't told us any names yet, Axios is still having to guess who might be on the list. The outlet listed as potential running mates:

1) Representative Elise Stefanik, Republican from New York.

Stefanik was the first member of Congress to endorse Trump in the current cycle and will campaign with him in New Hampshire.

2) Senator J.D. Vance, Republican from Ohio.

This might be Donald Trump Jr.'s pick if he had his way. "I'd love to see a J.D. Vance," Young Don recently said. "People who are principally in alignment as well as aggressive."

3) Nikki Haley, Republican presidential hopeful from South Carolina.

Even if Haley might be the best fit, would it be worth upsetting so many Trump supporters?

Whom do you think Trump will pick?
