Many experts predicted that Donald Trump had no shot at taking control of the Republican primary in 2024 after his relative flop of a midterm campaign season. His endorsements didn't do as well as he had promised, and he was in hot water for throwing his wife Melania under the bus.

Trump's lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who hasn't even declared yet, is steadily growing.
After his recent post on Truth Social that he expected to be arrested, Trump's support has only increased.
Perhaps Trump knew it would. He had been asking his team to fire up his supporters for a while.
An unjust arrest would be just the thing to unite all dormant Trump supporters AND prove to the rest of America that Trump has been unfairly targeted for YEARS.
