Trump Says Bragg Has Dropped The Case Against Him

March 27, 2023

Donald Trump really did believe he was going to be arrested on March 21 when he made the prediction the previous week.

It didn't happen.

Trump thinks he knows why. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg HAD been planning on having Trump arrested, before being forced to drop the case because "they have absolutely nothing."

"I think they’ve already dropped the case," Trump said. "It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing."

Trump didn't cite any official reports or news outlets saying how he came to that conclusion, he's just pretty sure he's been around the game long enough to know what's going on. To be fair, he didn't cite any official reports when he announced he would be arrested either.

Many people are wondering whether the reports ever actually existed or if Trump was just trying to drum up support.

If it was just a tactic, Trump almost surely accomplished his goal. He dominated national headlines for an entire week. Just what the man wants as he heads toward another presidential campaign.
