Trump Says Arrest Will Boost His Numbers

March 25, 2023

Former President Trump and others are predicting that an arrest will only boost his numbers for a presidential run in 2024.

If Trump were successful in the 2024 presidential race following a conviction, he'd be the first president in history to hold the office with a criminal record.

"While an indictment for any alleged crime — and whatever arrest or court hearings accompany it — may sound like a death knell for a politician on the ballot, Trump is far from a normal politician," reported Fox News.

Donald Trump has long enjoyed chaos and turmoil as he’s been successful at portraying himself to his supporters as a victim.

Trump has presented to his supporters as a victim of the establishment, the "deep state," and liberal forces.

"That’s exactly the picture he’s been painting repeatedly since recently warning of his looming indictment from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his alleged involvement in hush-money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, who said she had a sexual encounter years prior," reports Fox. "Trump denies having sex with Daniels and said any payments to her were unrelated to his campaign."

"Probably it will enhance my numbers," Trump said just before his speech at CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference).
