Following accusations that Republican nominee former President Donald Trump said he wants to lock up his political enemies, attendees at a Trump rally in Georgia on Tuesday chanted "Lock her up!" about Democratic Party presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Next Tuesday, you have to stand up and you have to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had a terrible, terrible run, that you’ve hurt our country very badly,” Trump said in Atlanta.

“You’ve accepted some of the worst criminals in the world into our country. You’re going to say, ‘Please say it, sir.’ I say I will. Kamala, you’re fired. Get out of here. Get out of here,” he said. The crowd then began to chant "lock her up."

Trump responded, “Be nice.”

Democrats have shouted "Lock him up!" at the DNC Convention in regard to Trump. President Joe Biden also said that Trump needed to be locked up in recent remarks, and he then modified his comments to suggest that he merely meant "politically" locked up.

Although Trump repeatedly called for Hillary Clinton to be locked up in 2016, neither he nor his DOJ ever took any action to do so.
