Trump on FBI Director Christopher Wray: 'He invaded my home'
Donald Trump is not very happy with current FBI Director Christopher Wray.
How do I know that?
Because he just told America exactly that.
NBC News' Kristen Welker recently asked Trump if his Nov. 30 nomination of Kash Patel to lead the FBI means that Wray is being fired.
"Well, I can’t say I’m thrilled with him. He invaded my home -- I’m suing the country over it," Trump said. "He invaded Mar-a-Lago."
You can't argue with that. It's also hard to argue with what Trump said next:
"I’m very unhappy with the things he’s done and crime is at an all-time high. Migrants are pouring into the country that are from prisons and from mental institutions, as we’ve discussed. "I can’t say I’m thrilled. I don’t want to say -- again... I don’t want to be Joe Biden and give you an answer and then do the exact opposite."
It looks like Trump is planning on firing Wray but doesn't want to make his stance very firm in case he has to change his mind for some reason. Trump saw how America reacted when Joe Biden pardoned his son after months of promising he wouldn't.
The incoming president doesn't want to make the same mistakes Biden did. That includes decisions regarding Wray and the FBI.
NBC: Will you fire Christopher Wray?
PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It would sort of seem pretty obvious that if @Kash_Patel gets in, he's going to be taking somebody's place, right? That somebody is the man you're talking about." pic.twitter.com/dYQwfx5l5O
