Trump Leads Haley By Double Digits In Head To Head Matchup
Nikki Haley, America's former ambassador to the United Nations, declared her candidacy for the office of president of the United States of America on Feb. 14, 2023.
Americans knew of her intent to do so for a long time, but this was her first official announcement.
Unfortunately for fans of Nikki Haley, she has a tough hill to climb if she wants to become one of the prominent staples at the top of the Republican Party.
Recent surveys say that her name is not carrying nearly as much weight as Donald Trump's right now. That could spell bad news going into debate season for Haley.
If Trump smells blood in the water, he's going to go for that weakness. He already has by implying that Nikki Haley is in over her head trying to play with the big boys of American politics.
Only time will tell if she can close the gap in between her popularity and Trump's, but early numbers suggest she has a serious battle ahead of her if she's going to do that.
