Former President Donald Trump has a widening lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the latest Harvard Caps Harris poll, 55%-22%.
No other candidates, official or unofficial, even got double digits in the poll.
Trump may be so confident after recent rounds of polling that he didn't even mention DeSantis or call him any names during his recent speech in Lee County, Florida on Friday night.
Even when only Trump and DeSantis were given as choices, the poll was 61%-39% in Trump's favor.
It does seem like it will be difficult for DeSantis to gain much momentum when he finally does enter the race, but it is still a long time before the primaries so anything can happen.
That is particularly true with Trump under indictment, facing investigations that could lead to more indictments, and with a propensity for saying rather dumb things on a regular basis.
It's important to share the news to spread the truth. Most people won't.
