Trump Leading GOP Field By 23 Points In Montana
Can you guess which Republican candidate is leading in Montana?
Don't look up at the title, that's cheating!
It's Donald Trump -- despite Dems' best efforts to use the justice system against him.
A recent survey from the people at Public Policy Polling indicates that Trump has completely reversed the Dems' intentions and is currently enjoying a 23-point lead over the second-most popular candidate in Montana, Ron DeSantis, despite the former president's two recent indictments -- one from Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg and one in federal court.
Trump clocks in at 46%, exactly double the 23% that DeSantis is enjoying.
No other Republican even comes close to double digits.
Nikki Haley got 5%.
Mike Pence grabbed 5%.
Chris Christie took 4%.
Vivek Ramaswamy nabbed 3%.
Tim Scott was down at 2%.
Trump also won a head-to-head matchup against DeSantis with a score of +12. Forty-nine percent of those surveyed would prefer Trump over DeSantis, while 37% of those surveyed would take the Florida governor.
What do you think about the results of this survey? Does anybody in the Republican party have a chance to stop Trump's momentum?
