Trump Leading By Double Digits In Pennsylvania

March 14, 2023

Ron DeSantis may be beating Donald Trump in his home state of Florida, but a recent Public Policy Polling survey found that Donald may be running away with things in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

Republicans in Pennsylvania were asked to choose between Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Mike Pence, or Nikki Haley to be their representation in the 2024 presidential election.

Trump nearly claimed a majority, with 49% of Pennsylvania residents choosing him.

Ron DeSantis was a distant second with 31% support.

Haley and Pence each collected 5% support, and the remaining 10% were unsure.

Even when taking all other candidates out of the equation, Donald Trump still wins. In that scenario, Trump leads 48% to 40%. Breitbart is claiming that 13% remain undecided, but that would then add up to 101%, so it's unclear where the error is.

Pennsylvania is an incredibly important swing state, having voted for Trump when he won in 2016 and against him when he "lost" in 2020.
