Trump indictment pushes Trump to highest lead ever over Biden in poll

The indictment of former President Donald Trump appears to have pushed him to his largest lead so far over President Joe Biden in the latest Rassmussen poll.

Trump had 47% in the poll, while Biden had 40%--outside the poll's three percent margin of error but less than the 11% who said they were undecided about who to support.

Trump's main rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, also measured significantly higher than Biden in the poll with 46% support to Biden's 39%.

It could be that despite the Trump indictment sucking up all the mainstream media attention this week, the public still realizes that Biden is looking more corrupt each day as House Republicans uncover his family's numerous shady business deals worth millions in cash from China, Russia, and Ukraine.

Trump does have more die-hard supporters than DeSantis, however, with 10% saying they will only vote for Trump compared to five percent who will only vote for DeSantis.

Could it be that Democrats are going to be punished for going after Trump and protecting Biden? Only time will tell.
