Trump 'Inclined To Pardon' Jan. 6 Prisoners If Elected

May 13, 2023

Donald Trump has already made a few promises for when he takes office again, and some of them are so Trumpy in nature that they couldn't have come from anyone else.

During his Town Hall on CNN on May 10, Donald Trump claimed that he would have the war in Ukraine ended in just one day if elected again.

Additionally, Trump said that Ukraine's allies in Europe need to be putting up the dough for Ukraine to keep on fighting. Despite America being across the world from the conflict, we're somehow footing the bill for this war.

Another bold claim Trump made was when he suggested that some people who are prisoners because of their actions on Jan. 6, 2020 could be walking free if he's elected.

"Will you pardon, then, January 6 rioters who were convicted of federal offenses?" an audience member asked Trump during his Town Hall. He replied:

I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can’t say for every single one because a couple of them probably they got out of control.
