Former President Donald Trump has more than twice the support of his closest rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the latest YouGov/Economist poll, while remaining neck and neck with President Joe Biden in a general election matchup.

Trump had the support of 48% of GOP voters in the poll, while DeSantis had 22%. The result is two points less than DeSantis had last month, with Trump remaining unchanged.

In the general election matchup, it's 40% for Trump and 39% for Biden, well within the poll's margin of error of +/- 2.9%.

When asked who they think will win the election, 40% said Trump and 38% said Biden.

More voters see Trump as a strong leader (54%) than Biden (37%). 65% saw Biden as weak, while only 45% said Trump was weak.

This far out from the election, it's hard to tell what might happen, but it's really not looking great for Biden at this point.
