Trump gives details about how wife Melania reacted to indictment

Former President Donald Trump shared his wife Melania's reaction to his indictment during a radio interview on Friday.

"It's always unpleasant when you have to go in and tell your wife that 'by the way, tomorrow, sometime, I'm going to be indicted,'" Trump said on The John Fredericks Show. "And she says, 'For what?' And I say, 'I have no idea. I have absolutely no idea.'"

Melania has been largely absent from public life since her husband left office, but she said in May on Fox News that she supports his bid for another term.

"We look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength," she said.

Trump said he tries to keep his family--Melania and Barron--separate from legal matters. "I try and keep them shielded and out of it," he said. "I just stay away from the standpoint of this."

It seems like they're just throwing everything at Trump to see if anything sticks. They're desperate to bring him down before he can get back in as president and undo everything that President Joe Biden has managed to do to advance the progressive agenda while in office.
