South Dakota's Republican governor, Kristi Noem, has made her decision about whom she's going to support as America proceeds through the Republican primaries.
CNN is reporting that Noem has officially pledged her loyalty to Donald Trump.
It makes sense.
Noem isn't in the race herself, but she IS one of the names that has been occasionally floated as a potential vice president for Trump.
We all know that Trump is not going to go with Mike Pence again, so Noem figures she ought to give herself the best chance possible.
With Trump leading the rest of the Republican field by double digits, it's probably a smart move for Noem to endorse him.
The risk of endorsing a less popular candidate probably wasn't worth the reward. With it so obvious who the leading Republican is right now, there was really no reason to upset Trump by picking to support somebody else. That is NOT something that Trump would have forgotten anytime soon.
It's important to share the news to spread the truth. Most people won't.
