Trump Disqualified From Maine 2024 Republican Primary

 December 30, 2023

Maine's secretary of state has decided on the nuclear option.

She has disqualified former President Donald Trump from the state's 2024 primary ballot.

As Fox News noted, Democrat Shenna Bellows "cited Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which bans from office those who 'engaged in insurrection.'"

Bellows made the ruling after some state residents challenged Trump's position on the ballot.

Maybe she owed some favors, there were many former lawmakers who put their names on the request.

In return, Trump's team has requested that Bellows disqualify herself because they believe that she has posted tweets in the past that show bias.

In the tweets, "Bellows called the U.S. Capitol attack an 'insurrection' and bemoaned that Trump wasn't convicted by the U.S. Senate after being impeached by the U.S. House."

Do you think that Trump will actually be kept off this ballot?

Or will law and order, justice, and common sense prevail?
