Trump calls for Judge Juan Merchan's disbarment for participation in political prosecution

President-elect Donald Trump took to Truth Social to blast Juan Merchan and call for his removal from the bench after the judge suddenly announced a sentencing date in the New York hush money case just days before the Jan. 20 inauguration.

It's already been confirmed that Trump will face no prison time making the sentencing largely inconsequential, but Merchan is refusing to dismiss the charges in order to give Democrats one last shot at Trump.

Now Democrats will get to screech about Trump being the first convicted felon with a sentence to win the presidency. Of course, what they won't talk about is the unprecedented and political nature of the charges against Trump.

Trump stated in his post to Truth Social that, "I never falsified business records. It is a fake, made up charge by a corrupt judge who is just doing the work of the Biden/Harris Injustice Department, an attack on their political opponent, ME!"

In a second post, Trump said, "The judge should be disbarred! This is why people, and companies, are FLEEING New York. A corrupt court system. There has never been a President who was so evilly and illegally treated as I. Corrupt Democrat judges and prosecutors have gone against a political opponent of a President, ME, at levels of injustice never seen before."

Democrats practically brag that their indictments of Trump are entirely political and based on unprecedented and novel charges, but they will still talk about the "grave" damage to our democracy that Trump supposedly presents.
