Trump calls DeSantis a 'globalist' in latest attack

Shortly after midnight on Monday, former President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who seems to be his closest competitor in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, and also on the Club for Growth, with which DeSantis is involved.

“The Club For No Growth is a GLOBALIST group that I have been taking to the cleaners for years,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“They know I won’t play that game, I am America First all the way. That’s the ONLY way we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” Trump continued.

He then used his new favorite nickname for DeSantis.

“Ron DeSanctimonious, who I made Governor in BOTH the Primary & the General, is also a Globalist, & so are his donors,” Trump asserted. “Jeb ‘Low Energy’ Bush was next to him last week. Check PAST!”

Instead, Trump calls himself a "nationalist," who puts America first.
