Former Trump attorney John Eastman predicts he and all of his co-defendants will be 'vindicated'

John Eastman, an attorney who worked for former President Donald Trump and who is one of his 18 co-defendants in the Georgia RICO indictment, predicted that the case will fail and all defendants in the case will be "vindicated."

In a statement to Fox News, Eastman predicted, "I think if we get a fair trial in Fulton County, whether that’s in state court or federal court, I’m confident that we’ll be fully vindicated. Not just me, but all the defendants."

Eastman is accused of working with Trump to overturn the 2020 presidential election as part of an unprecedented RICO case that the lawyer believes sets a "very dangerous" precedent.

The attorney explained, "Our federal criminal code and our state criminal code have gotten so expansive and so vague that any one of us can be charged by a creative prosecutor with three felonies a day."

The expansiveness of our nation's criminal code has left a lot of room for political prosecutors to manipulate the law and punish political opponents.

District Attorney Fani Willis, who is the mastermind behind the indictment, hasn't even tried to hide her political motivations in this case.
