Trump and DeSantis Laughing After Biden Continues To Disappoint...

March 14, 2023

President Joe Biden just can't seem to get ahead. A hypothetical matchup in the state of Florida revealed that both former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would beat sleepy Joe if an election were to take place today.

Trump and DeSantis both lead Biden in a hypothetical matchup in Florida, a University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab survey revealed.

The survey asked, "If the 2024 presidential election were held today and the candidates were Joe Biden for the Democratic Party and Donald Trump for the Republican Party, who would you vote for?"

Trump received 50% of the vote to Biden’s 43%. Seven percent remained unsure. Trump also holds an advantage among independent voters, leading Biden by five percent, 47% to 42%.

The survey then asked the same question, proposing Biden or Florida Gov. DeSantis.

DeSantis beat Biden by nine percent in the hypothetical matchup, 51% to 42%. Additionally, DeSantis holds a lead among independent voters, ahead of Biden 48% to 42%.

The survey revealed bad news for Biden in the Sunshine State. 53% of respondents view him either somewhat or very unfavorably. A whopping 54% of independents share that view as well.

What we can learn from this survey is that smart voters live in Florida. Joe Biden has to go, and 2024 can't come soon enough.
